Bright future for Audi RS3 Sportback

Audi have always hit the nail on the head with their RS product and the incoming RS3 and RS5 are likely to prove popular amongst style seekers and petrol heads everywhere.

That’s according to Richard Crosthwaite, the Prestige Car editor of leading industry used car price guide, Glass’s Guide.

Commenting on RS3 residuals, he says he expects it to “perform in a similar manner or likely better than the RS4 which still retains 60% of its original cost new after three years and 36,000 miles.  For what is now a defunct model that is an impressive RV and while some may say the initial outlay of £39,900 is a high price to pay for an A3, it's a full £10,000 less than the old RS4 and £18,000 less than an RS5.

”With the added bonus of practicality via the Sportback 5 doors, I’d expect the order bank to be full before too long and for me this has future hot hatch classic status written all over it.”
