Introducing the new Audi S6 Avant

The new and improved S6 Avant model will be a favourite of many as it combines ultimate practicality with sporty performance.

• The new Avant swaps V10 power for an all-new 4.0 litre, twin turbo V8 TFSI S6 engine, downsizing. However it manages to offer stronger performance while reducing fuel consumption.

• 420PS will be produced by the powerful engine which will provide a constant 550 Nm of torque from 1,400 to 5,300 rpm. In addition, the S6 Avant will be driven by quattro permanent all wheel drive. This will allow the S6 Avant to travel from 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds, spurring it on to an electronically-governed top speed of 155mph.

• The S6 Avant will use quattro - Audi's renowned four-wheel-drive technology - to achieve great S6 Avant performance and grip, whatever the driving conditions.

• The S6 Avant offers 1,680 litres of luggage space, while the list of S6 Avant design options includes a panoramic glass roof.

• The luxurious S6 Avant interior follows a sporting theme in an understated and elegant way throughout.
