Audi A1 project quattro®
What´s the next big thing? The Audi A1 project quattro showcases a 1.4 turbocharged TFSI engine developing 150PS at 5,500 rpm, whose power is directed to the front wheels by means of the S tronic Direct Shift Gearbox. A 41PS electric motor positioned on the rear axle is able to deliver up to an additional 200 Nm of torque when the vehicle is accelerating.
Audi A1 Sportback
Audi has plans for a new small car to rival the likes of the Fiat 500 and Ford Ka – but with one major selling point the other cars don’t have. With acceleration from 0 to 62mph in 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 124mph, the Audi A1 Sportback concept is capable of returning up to 72.4mpg. CO2 emissions are an efficient 92 g/km.
Audi e-tron
Audi is developing an electric battery-powered sports car called e-tron that can sprint from 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds and has a limited top speed of 124mph. It has ten times the torque of the V8 Audi R8! It has a range of 154 miles and the batteries can be charged within eight hours, although Audi is also developing a 'wireless' docking station.
