Audi TDI

The strongest advantage of a powerful Audi TDI engine is efficiency. To appreciate what that means in practice, look at Audi’s impressive performance in the Mileage Marathon. During the 13-day trip – which covered 7,865 kilometres from New York to Los Angeles – the 23 participating Audi achieved sensational results.

For example, on average, the Audi A3 with its 2.0 TDI engine used just 4.7 litres. The A4 3.0 TDI consumed just 5.3 litres and the Q5 3.0 TDI performance SUV used a mere 6.1 litres. Even the spacious Q7 3.0 TDI, with room for seven people, recorded impressive consumption of 7.1 litres – proving that sportiness and efficiency are not mutually exclusive at Audi.

A3 TDI
New A3 TDI ultra-low CO2 Emissions
An all-new 1.6-litre A3 TDI engine with ultra-economical performance and ultra-low CO2 output is available to order. With CO2 emissions of just 99g/km (0-62mph in 11.4 seconds, top speed 121mph) and delivers up to 74.3mpg making it an ultra-efficient design success.

Audi A4 TDI
Audi A4 2.0 TDIe
The Audi A4 is available in an efficiency-focused TDIe version capable of returning up to 61.4mpg while emitting as little as 120g/km of CO2. Thanks to the punchy 136PS version of the 2.0-litre TDI engine first seen in the A6 2.0 TDIe, the new A4 model avoids reminding drivers that they have chosen to give priority to efficiency every time they press the accelerator.

Audi Q7 TDI
Q7 TDI clean diesel
The new Audi Q7 3.0 TDI clean diesel quattro. A reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions of up to 90 % – made possible by a newly-developed emission control system. The Q7 TDI Clean Diesel is the first passenger car in the UK to have this advanced system, which has been designed to maximise engine efficiency and to optimise the after-treatment of exhaust gas.
