New Technology Pack Advanced for A6 and A7 Sportback

A new 'one-stop-shop' option package for all A6 and A7 Sportback models unites nine advanced infotainment and safety features.

The new Technology Package Advanced brings out the very best in the Saloon, Avant, allroad and Sportback ranges already famed for their technical sophistication.  

The Technology Package Advanced includes:

• MMI navigation plus with the MMI Touch fingertip recognition system

• Colour Driver's Information System

• Audi Music Interface iPod connection

• Bluetooth mobile phone interface giving access to Google Earth navigation maps and creating an in-car Wi-Fi hotspot.  

Safety features include:

• Pre-sense plus accident avoidance

• Blind spot and lane departure warning systems

• Adaptive cruise control.

• Audi pre-sense plus is the most all-encompassing version of Audi’s advanced multi-level safety system. It constantly monitors driving conditions and initiates preventive protective measures if its sensors detect an imminent collision – everything from tensioning the seatbelts, closing the windows and sunroof and automatic illumination of the adaptive rear brake lights to full autonomous braking at up to 5 metres a second if an unavoidable impact is foreseen.

In the A7 Sportback, the equipment list is supplemented by a sophisticated head-up display which projects navigation and entertainment information onto the windscreen so that it appears to ‘float’ around two metres ahead of the car.

The Technology Package Advanced costs £3,250 for A6 models and £3,750 for the A7 Sportback, saving at least £1,085 compared to specifying the options individually.
