M25 Audi Sponsorship deal with local golf star

Local golf star Sam Little has just taken delivery of a brand new Audi S3 - courtesy of a sponsorship deal with M25 Audi.

“I’m thrilled,” said Sam, who is based at The Grove in Chandler’s Cross.  “I enjoy driving it, and it helps me immensely.  I had an A3 a few years ago and have always liked that style of car.  The S3 is very comfortable and yet really sporty as well – so you get the best of both worlds.”

Sam has always lived in Hertfordshire and currently resides in Rickmansworth.  He is the Touring Professional at The Grove – one of England’s finest championship courses – and has been since January 2009. 

Supporting the local community is a cornerstone of M25 Audi’s philosophy, and Managing Director Darren Guiver – himself a keen golfer – said:  “It’s a great fit for us, because so many Audi drivers love golf as well. We’re delighted to be sponsoring one of the area’s top sporting talents and we wish Sam every success.”

About Sam Little

Sam started playing golf aged nine with his father and brother Jamie, a professional on the Challenge Tour, at their local course in Hertfordshire.

After representing England in 1996 and 1997 Sam turned professional and in 2007 finished second in the Mallorca Classic to end the season in 76th on the Order of Merit – a career high so far.

Last year again, for the fourth time in five years, Sam secured his European Tour card and finished 111th in the Order of Merit.  His highlight of 2009 was a second place finish at the Czech Open in August.

Sam is coached by former European Tour professional and leading Senior Tour player Peter Mitchell.
