New Audi Q7 3.0 TDI Engine Means More Economy, Less Emissions

The Audi Q7 is now available with a 204PS V6 TDI engine which is capable of a combined fuel economy figure of up to 39.2mpg, with CO2 emissions of just 189g/km.

The new 3.0 TDI V6 was first seen in the Audi A6, and when combined with the Q7 offers excellent economy without compromising performance. The Q7 3.0 TDI V6 is capable of 0-62mph in 9.1 seconds with a top speed of 127mph and a maxiumum torque of 450nm at 1,250 to 2,750rpm.

The Q7 remains a luxurious SUV thanks to it's super-smooth eight-speed tiptronic transmission, which makes gear changes seemless and near-instant.

Like all Q7 models the driving motion is sent to all four wheels in a 40% front to 60% rear ratio by the quattro permanent four-wheel-drive system, and thanks to the standard five-mode air suspension the suspension can be adjusted depending on the road surface from 180mm and 240mm making it just as smooth off road as it is on tarmac.
