Congratulations to our favourite golfer!
M25 Audi-sponsored golfer Sam Little is the man of the moment on the European Challenge Tour, with two thrilling wins in consecutive weeks.
Following a victory in the M2M Russian Challenge Cup in Moscow, Sam took first place in the Allianz Golf Open in Toulouse, southwest France. A closing round score of 68, three under par, meant he finished one stroke ahead of the field on 268 (16 under par).
It was his fourth career win on the Challenge Tour and as a result he has moved up the rankings into second place, from 43rd two weeks ago. The even better news is, he has virtually secured his European Tour card for 2012.
“This year has been hard for me, not being on The European Tour where I played for six years between 2005 and 2010,” he said. “Winning my card back was always the goal and now I have that secured, I really want to try and win the Rankings outright. I will take a week off next week to spend some time with the family, but then it will be back in action and a big push over the final three tournaments of the year.”
