M25 Audi supports Jeans For Genes
Our four M25 Audi Centres are campaigning to raise awareness of the charity that provides funding and support for children with genetic disorders, and on Friday 7 October will be taking part in Jeans For Genes day.
Instead of their usual smart attire, our staff will be coming to work in jeans for the day and will each make a donation to the fund.
We will be asking our customers to make a small donation as well, and however much we raise we will double it.
Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK – that’s more than 30,000 babies each year. In fact, their associated health problems mean that genetic disorders are the biggest killer of children aged 14 years and under.
Jeans For Genes is the national charity raising money for children with genetic disorders. The first national Jeans for Genes Day took place in 1996 and raised £750,000. In the last 16 years Jeans for Genes has raised £36 million to fund care, support and research for children and families affected by genetic conditions.
This year, Jeans for Genes will help fund 26 charities, helping them to provide vital support, information, specialist nursing services, much needed equipment and giving them the chance to have their voices heard.
Watford Audi are holding a raffle in aid of the charity with two fantastic prizes:
- A round of golf for four people at The Grove – one of the countries finest luxury golf courses
- A signed Watford FC shirt
Head down to your local M25 Audi Centre and show your support.
