M25 Audi Team

Rain held off for The Herts 10K on Sunday morning for what turned out to be a beautiful autumnal morning. Almost 2,500 runners started the race at 10am to help raise £200,000 or The The Grove House Hospice. After a brief pep talk from team organisor, Sarah, the M25 Audi team joined the warm up in our respective dealership teams and rivalry commenced!

Despite being cross country, the ground under foot was surprisingly firm and the 2,000 white Grove House event T Shirts, puffing and wheezing around the course, were only mildly in need of some washing machine action by the finish. Having competed in my 35-39 age group category with good results in triathlon since 2005, you could say I have an unfair advantage for this weekend’s Herts 10K Run. However, from past experience, I know its pretty undulating and heads across country which drains the leg muscles of all power… and as a I look out of the window writing this and note the rain cascading down… its going to be a bit muddy.. oh!
