Service Advisor
Sales Executive

Service Advisor

  • To be the focal point of contact for Audi customers requiring servicing or repair to their vehicles
  • Managing the flow of information between the workshop, the rest of the Audi Centre and the customer
  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Key Responsibilities

  1. To manage all service telephone and walk in enquiries on behalf of the Audi Centre
  2. Qualify service needs and diagnose vehicle running problems where appropriate. Establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out
  3. Calculate workshop capacity ensuring that all details are entered onto the service workshop loading system
  4. Manage the handover and administration of Customer Service Vehicles. Explain the work carried out on vehicle ensuring customers´ full understanding and authorisation
  5. Manage any necessary liaison with department manager regarding customer dissatisfaction. Follow up in line with Audi Centre procedures
  6. Understand and apply Audi Service by Design and HSO requirements
  7. Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the Audi Centre
  8. Maintain product knowledge on the full Audi range.9. Maintain relevant systems ensuring accuracy at all times

Sales Executive

  • To sell the range of Audi new and used car products meeting agreed sales volumes
  • To ensure the highest degree of customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To sell the maximum number of Audi new and used vehicles via the use of an effective sales process, whilst at the same time achieve the best profit for the Centre.
  2. Carry out accurate appraisals of all vehicles offered for part exchange.
  3. Maintain showroom and displays to the required Audi standard. To include the availability of brochures and display of Audi vehicles.
  4. Using various sources, prospect for new and used car customers on a regular basis to create additional sales opportunities.
  5. Manage the preparation and handover of sold vehicles to customers ensuring that the customer is given a full briefing on the operation of the vehicle and its controls. Introduce customers to Aftersales staff in order that they are aware of the facilities and procedures.
  6. Through the effective use of a follow up process, maintain regular contact with all new and existing customers to ensure that relationships are maintained for potential repeat business.
  7. Develop and maintain full product knowledge of all products, accessories, prices and key features of major competitors.
  8. Ensure all customer information, sales activities, vehicle documentation and other relevant information is kept and maintained accurately and comprehensively.
  9. To participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales penetration and to take part fully in on and off site promotions run by the department.

Technician

  • To diagnose, repair and service the range of Audi products in accordance with Audi´s work specifications, ensuring each customer receives excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Through the use of diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified. Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required.
  2. Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
  3. Carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
  4. Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
  5. Liaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in situations that are over and above work specified.
  6. Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing vehicles after work has been carried out. Liaise with Service Advisor.
  7. Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI´s, service reports) in line with HSO, warranty and Audi Centre requirements.
  8. Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools.
  9. Work with other workshop and Audi Centre colleagues to provide excellent customer service. Share best practice when appropriate.
