Audi A3 Cabriolet: luxury convertible with sporty appeal

It’s a real eye-catcher, and it bears the distinctive sportiness, innovative technology and uncompromising quality that mark all Audi models.  On the road prices start at £21,180 for the 1.2 TFSI model.

The hood comes in semi-automatic or fully automatic versions; the latter is sound-proofed and heat-insulated, and can be opened and closed in seconds, while driving at up to nearly 20mph – very convenient in city traffic.

There is more than enough room for four people, without compromising on luggage capacity – 260 litres when the rear seats are upright, rising to 674 litres when folded.

The A3 Cabriiolet body structure contains a high proportion of high-strength and ultra-high-strength steels and features numerous reinforcing measures for maximum rigidity and crash safety.

There are five turbo-charged, fuel-efficient engines to choose from, and the option of Standard, Sport or S Line specifications.  The performance range extends from 105 to 200 hp and on request the the luxury Audi convertible can be equipped with the S tronic dual-clutch transmission which shifts its six gears in split seconds.
