Audi A5 – Power and Performance
The arrival of the new A5 brings the original quattro coupé back to life with a 21st century twist The Audi A5 is powered by the potent 1.8 TFSI, 3.0-litre TDi and a 3.2-litre FSI petrol at launch and the range has just been joined by a 1.8 Turbo FSI petrol. Quattro and tiptronic variants are also be available. Motoring pundits are predicting a flagship RS5 running a 400bhp-plus V8, and wearing ultra-flared wheelarches. Not surprisingly, the Audi A5 has the Mercedes-Benz CLK and BMW 3-Series coupes firmly in its sights. The Audi A5 is powered by the potent 1.8 TFSI 3.0-litre TDi and a 3.2-litre FSI petrol.
